Address or Receiver Numbers due to battery failure.
If you are experiencing complete memory loss on your 4DTV
when AC power is lost, your Digicipher battery is probably weak
or dead. Prolonged
loss of AC power with a dead battery will result in a Bad Unit
Address / Receiver Number. If this occurs, we will need to
replace the main Digicipher board to repair the receiver*.
Replacement of the battery before it fails will save the
Unit Address.
*Some Digicipher
boards are no longer available.
